Covering three of the best resorts in the region, the Ski ALPIN CARD is your golden ticket to a fabulous skiing holiday in the Salzburger Land region. The card is valid for lifts and pistes in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See and Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun. Kitzsteinhorn glacier resort
Kitzsteinhorn mountain is home to the only glacier ski resort in the Salzburger Land region featuring 41 kilometres of perfectly prepared pistes catering to skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. The season begins in autumn and carries on to spring, when most other resorts have already closed, thanks to its many slopes all the way up to 3,000 metres above sea level.

Skiing on Maiskogel mountain
The ski resort on Maiskogel mountain is perfect for families. It is easy to get to, boasts plenty of gentle pistes for beginners and has a number of cosy huts serving hearty local food. All in all there are 20 kilometres of slopes, mainly aimed at children and novices.
Don't forget to check out the Maisi-Phantasiepark outdoor adventure playground on the mountains with lots of fun for youngsters of all ages.
Schmittenhöhe - the family ski resort
Boasting 77 kilometres of pistes, the Schmittenhöhe resort is a firm favourite with families. Highlights include a Ski Movie Piste where you can film yourself and your family skiing, a race course and plenty of easy blue slopes and red slopes for cruising. The funslope and funpark are the right place for budding freestylers. Don't forget to stop off at one of the huts for a hearty meal at lunchtime. Children will enjoy the beginners' area and ski school.
